The first hour
The game teaches itself. This is for those who like to know beforehand.
Make the account
Name, email and password. Sayo meets you at the gate and the first fight starts right after.
Fight the prologue
Sayo teaches each command the moment you need it: strike, skill, Ultimate and potion. No hero falls in this fight, so get it wrong freely.
Summon for free
The first summons are on Sayo. The cards flip from the most common to the rarest.
Build the team
Two in front, two behind. Two heroes of the same class or element already grant a bonus.
Follow the Grove
Lantern Grove leads to the Veil Temple and the first seal. The city opens a new place every few levels.
The rules on one page
Each rule with the reason it exists.
- Four heroes, two in front and two behind.
- The front takes the hits first, so position is a choice.
- Each acts on their turn, and the order is always in view.
- You plan what comes next instead of only reacting.
- Skills spend Technique Points, which belong to the whole team.
- Spending them all on one hero leaves the others with none.
- Hitting the weakness strips Toughness. At zero it is a Break: the enemy loses its turn and takes more damage.
- The fight rewards reading the enemy, not just high attack.
- Everyone broken at once is an All-Out Assault.
- Breaking them together is worth more than dropping one at a time.
- The Step moves a hero to the other row for 1 Technique Point, without spending the turn.
- Marked ground warns of the blow, and leaving it is your call.
- The Ultimate fills as you fight, and Ultimates used in a row chain together.
- Saving it for the right moment pays more than firing it the instant it fills.
- Summoning keys are earned by playing, and every box has a guarantee.
- Luck has a ceiling, and money stays out of it.
Classes
Vanguard
Guardian of the Veil, front
Holds the front line and takes hits for the team.
The price: Very resilient, but depends on the team to finish long fights.
Executor
Oathblade, front
Hunts the most wounded enemy and brings them down in a few strikes.
The price: Hits hard but has low endurance. Out of position, falls quickly.
Arcanist
Riftweaver, rear
Manipulates elements, TP and effects to change the battle's tempo.
The price: Each skill carries weight, but the body can't withstand being targeted.
Marksman
Pathwarden, rear
Shoots nonstop from afar and capitalizes on every mark on the enemy.
The price: Needs time and someone in front to be effective.
Support
Soul Lightkeeper, rear
Keeps the team standing until the Kizuna Bond decides the fight.
The price: Wins the fight by time, not by damage.
